GAGE provides customers with the highest quality telecommunications and IT services. Hear from them firsthand.
Gage Cloud Voice offers different phone types, all with HD voice quality and Gigabit connectivity: Standard phones for everyday desk use; Enhanced phones with additional programmable buttons for receptionists and high-call-volume roles; Executive phones with large color displays and premium features for leadership; Cordless and Conference phones for mobility and meeting rooms; and a mobile-only option using the MaxUC app for staff who work on the go. Your Gage representative matches device types to each user’s daily workflow.
There is no upfront cost for phone hardware or installation. Phone equipment is bundled into your monthly per-seat cost, so you keep your cash on hand and get a fixed, predictable monthly telecommunications expense instead of a large capital purchase. Your exact per-seat rate depends on the phone models and number of users you select, and is detailed on your custom Gage Cloud Voice proposal.
No. When upgrading to Gage Cloud Voice, Gage will become your phone service provider and will provide your telephone seats to the cloud with unlimited calling. We will also transfer your established business number into our system ensuring that your customers will be able to reach you by the number they know.
Your phones keep working. Because Gage Cloud Voice is hosted in the cloud rather than on equipment in your building, an Internet outage at your office does not take the phone system down. Calls are automatically re-routed to a destination you choose in advance — voicemail (delivered to your email as an audio file and text transcription), an auto-attendant, a cell phone or other 10-digit number, an answering service, or another office location. Your team can also keep making and taking calls on the MaxUC mobile app using cellular data. When your Internet connection is restored, calls return to your desk phones automatically with no action required.
Every Gage Cloud Voice customer is automatically enrolled in the Gage Partner Program, which covers the ongoing service and maintenance of your phone system at no additional charge. It includes: 24/7 helpdesk support; unlimited programming and configuration changes; unlimited team training for the life of your agreement; priority scheduling for service requests; exclusive discounts on additional equipment; and full equipment coverage — if a phone fails or needs replacing, Gage repairs or replaces it at no cost to you. The Partner Program is detailed on your Gage Cloud Voice proposal.
Gage Cloud Voice connects to your CRM through third-party APIs, so call activity flows into the system your team already works in. Our engineers configure the integration to match how your CRM is set up — mapping call records, call details, and transcription data to the correct contact, account, or opportunity records rather than dropping them into a generic activity log. In practice, that means inbound and outbound calls are logged automatically, screen-pops surface the caller’s record before your team answers, and call notes and transcripts are attached to the right contact without manual data entry. Supported platforms include Salesforce, HubSpot, and Microsoft Dynamics, among others — ask your Gage representative about your specific CRM.
No — onsite implementation is not required, and we do offer cloud-only deployments. That said, we recommend an onsite visit, and most Gage Cloud Voice implementations include one. The majority of the work is handled remotely, but your dedicated project manager schedules onsite time to confirm your network is ready for voice traffic. While onsite, our technicians test your network infrastructure and Internet connection to verify they can support VoIP call quality. If we find gaps — an undersized connection, an unmanaged switch, or cabling that won’t carry voice reliably — we tell you exactly what needs to change before go-live rather than discovering it after your phones are cut over.
In some cases, yes. Gage Cloud Voice supports a wide range of SIP-compliant phones, so if your existing handsets meet that standard and are in good working condition, they can often be reused. Your Gage representative will review your current hardware during the assessment and tell you what qualifies. That said, we generally recommend moving to new devices. Older phones may not support the full Gage Cloud Voice feature set, they fall outside the equipment coverage included in the Gage Partner Program, and because hardware costs are bundled into your monthly seat pricing, upgrading carries no upfront expense.
